Taconic

Company Profile

Korea Taconic was established February 1996 through a direct investment of Taconic,a leading manufacturer in the PTFE product industry over the past 50 years.

We produce PTFE coated glass fabric for thermal resistance, non-stick, thermal resistant tape, PTFE belts architectural fabric, and PTFE laminates for radio communication equipment used in overseas arkets including Japan, Taiwan, China, India, other Asian countries and Australia.

Taconic had provided the non-stick PTFE sheets for cooking to the global enterprises such as 'M'.
According to the request of its overseas buyers, Taconic attached the PTFE film to the existing baking mold and developed new product making bread not stuck on the baking mold.

Taconic applied this technology to a fry pan, which became the start of a film fry pan.

Taconic coats PTFE and Silicone on glass fabric, mesh, film, and even metal. Controlling the properties of coated materials and providing customized products are one of Taconic’s core technologies.
Various types of PTFE-based composite materials are produced by Taconic’s laminate technology. Taconic can provide laminates for high-end/high frequency PCB substrates, medical use and food contact applications.

Taconic manufactures microwave laminates with uniform thickness profiles, precise dielectric constants, and consistently low dissipation factors throughout the entire panel. The exceptionally low loss factors extend the usefulness of these Taconic laminates to X-Band and above.

Taconic RF laminates can be sheared, drilled, milled, plated and routed, using the accepted methods for PTFE/woven fiberglass laminates. Taconic laminates are dimensionally stable and are resistant to the process solution used during fabrication.

Ceramic filled PTFE laminates combines the benefits of woven glass reinforced fluoropolymer chemistry with the thermal, mechanical and electrical enhancements of ceramic elements. These organic-ceramic laminates are the best value for the low cost, high performance demands of microwave and radio frequency antenna applications.

Woven glass laminates are constructed with a woven matrix of fiber-glass fabric coated with PTFE that is more mechanically stable and has a more uniform dielectric constant than traditional non-woven products. The laminates are dimensionally stable, and exhibit virtually no moisture absorption during fabrication process.
